Not a lot of excitement on the bicycling front.for ol’ A Dudey. That’s because of some gigs, a short trip, and the usual tiredness. But the annual International Ride of Silence to honor cyclists who lost their lives or got hurt while biking happened in Austin and 200 cities around the world. Here are some photos.

Never heard of this event. What a lovely homage to those who have lost their lives, or been hurt, while bike riding. Thanks for letting us know!

Thanks for your comment! It started in Dallas in the early oughts, and is an important event for those in the bicycling world who have lost someone or been hurt, which is most of the people who ride bikes. Please be kind to cyclists!
